This section tends to be used
to gain a deeper technical understanding of the situation,
rather than answer go/no-go type questions. The “forces
acting on the tool string and cable” section is
particularly interesting, as it quantifies the different
contributions made by friction, buoyancy and fluid effects
and hence allows you to see what are the driving factors
in a given situation.
